✨ Position Details

We are looking for an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

This is a 20-bed, all-private CVICU caring for high-acuity cardiovascular patients. Travelers must be able to independently manage the unit's complex patient population and specialty equipment from day one.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent CVICU experience required

• Strong cardiovascular ICU experience with the ability to care for high-acuity patients independently

• BLS required

• ACLS preferred

• CCRN a plus

• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated

• Experience titrating multiple critical-care drips

• Experience with IABP, Impella, Swan-Ganz, CRRT, temporary pacing and arterial/CVC lines

• Experience caring for ventilated patients

• Previous ICU travel experience preferred

💵 Compensation

Travel

• Weekly Gross: $2,842 weekly

• Taxable: $1,575

• Housing/Stipend: $1,267

• OT: $65.62 hourly

Local

• W2: $ 55.75 hourly

• OT: $ 83.62 hourly

📋 Additional Details

• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

• Hours: 36 hrs/week

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - night shift weekends are Friday/Saturday

• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday

• Call: No call/standby requirement

• Floating: Travelers may float to every level of care and are expected to take a full team

• Patient Ratio: 1:1, 1:2, or 2:1 depending on patient acuity

• Unit: 20-bed CVICU; all private rooms and monitored

• Charting/Monitoring: Philips monitoring; RNs are expected to interpret cardiac rhythms

• Scrubs: No specific color required; appropriate, clean professional attire

• Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with a permanent address within 50 miles
