Requirements:

• 2 years experience required

• BLS. ACLS & NIHSS

• strong medsurg background

• Must have EPIC and Travel experience

Unit specifics:

• Beds 32 but currently 20 due to staffing

• Patient Ratios no more than 5

• Common diagnoses/Types of patients CP, CHF, Pneumonia, Abd pain, pancreatitis, ortho, detox, any surgery post op, pediatric patients, medsurg can take anything except laboring moms and titrating cardiac drips or insulin drips

• Shifts & Scheduling -12-hour shifts, 645-715, extra shifts may be available, manager will make schedule. if traveler has preferences manager is open to working with block scheduling

• Weekend Requirement every other- required. Night shift is Friday Saturday Sunday

• Holiday Requirement rotates with regular staff

• Is there Call or a Standby requirement? no

• Floating Requirements? Yes, floating is required, medsurg frequently floats to assist other units as tasker or extra set of hands.

Pay breakdown:

Gross Pay (weekly): $2329.0

Taxable Pay (weekly): 1062.0

Non-taxable Pay (weekly): 1267.0
