Number of Beds: 24
Patient Ratios (ESTIMATED): 2:1 and 3:1 OBED triage
Unit staffing description: High risk obstetrical unit, labor and delivery
Type of equipment : GE fetal monitors
Documentation system: Meditech, CPN
Scheduling requirements: 3-12 hour night shift 7p-7a per week
Floating policy: As needed

Requested Skill Set:

High risk obstetrical bedside training, circulating in c/section in the labor and delivery area, recovering high acuity patients.

Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN/LVN/Tech)

Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certificate

Procedures performed on unit:

Vaginal deliveries, c/sections, d&c, post delivery recovery care.

Patient Experience Required:

At least 2 years high risk labor and delivery care
