Weekly Pay Package

• Weekly Gross Pay: $2,867

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Travel MRI Technologist for a 12-week assignment at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, Ohio.

This is an excellent opportunity for an MRI professional looking for a consistent weekday evening schedule, competitive weekly compensation, and a predictable work-life balance. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of MRI experience and the ability to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Previous travel experience is not required. Candidates with the necessary MRI skills and a commitment to quality patient care are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.

• Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explain examinations, and address patient questions or concerns.

• Screen patients for MRI safety risks, including implants, medical devices, and other contraindications.

• Position patients appropriately to obtain diagnostic-quality images.

• Operate MRI scanners and associated imaging equipment safely and effectively.

• Monitor patients during examinations and respond appropriately to patient needs.

• Follow radiation-free imaging safety practices, magnetic field safety protocols, and infection prevention standards.

• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.

• Ensure equipment readiness and report technical issues according to facility procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience.

• Appropriate MRI credentials and qualifications required for the position and facility.

• Knowledge of MRI safety procedures, imaging protocols, and patient positioning.

• Ability to operate MRI equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images.

• Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Previous travel experience is not required.

Schedule and Assignment Details

• 12-week travel contract.

• Possible contract extension.

• Monday through Friday schedule.

• Evening shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.

• Five 8-hour shifts per week.

• No on-call requirements.
