Travel RN - Medical-Surgical/Telemetry

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Schedules Available: 36/36, 36/48, and 48/48
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Call: No call
Floating: Required; 1:7 patient ratio when floated to Medical-Surgical (MS)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience

• First-time travelers accepted

• AHA BLS required

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry and Medical-Surgical experience required

• Traveler must live at least 100 miles from the facility

Orientation and Contract Details:

• General orientation begins on Sundays, with online CBLs.

• Start dates are flexible based on completion of compliance documents by the deadline.

• Confirmation must include 16 hours of non-billable orientation.

• The hospital may cancel or call off one shift every two weeks due to decreased census, without financial penalty, under the applicable 36/36 or 36/48 employment schedule.

• Additional overtime shifts picked up beyond the committed schedule may be flexed based on census decreases or reduced resource needs, without penalty.

• Contract RNs/LPNs are expected to support nursing students and participate in clinical education alongside their regular patient-care responsibilities.

Please note: Floating is required, and schedules are subject to the applicable contract terms and hospital census needs.

Gross Pay (weekly): $3009.0

Taxable Pay (weekly): 1742.0

Non-taxable Pay (weekly): 1267.0
