Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced PCU / Stepdown Registered Nurse for a 13-week day-shift travel assignment. Put your cardiac nursing expertise to work in a dynamic float pool caring for intermediate and progressive care patients.
ASSIGNMENT HIGHLIGHTS
Gross Weekly Pay: $2,000
Location: Atlanta, GA
Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: November 16, 2026
Schedule: 3x12 Days | 36 Hours/Week
Patient Ratio: 1:3-4
Floating: Required across PCU and IMCU units
Patient Population: Cardiac and intermediate care
On-Call: None
Charting: Epic
Requested Time Off: Minimal RTO
WEEKLY COMPENSATION
Gross Weekly Pay: $2,000
Taxable Weekly Pay: $540
Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $1,460
Taxable Hourly Rate: $15.00/hour
Overtime: After 40 hours per week
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
Required:
Minimum 2 years of PCU / Stepdown or comparable progressive care experience in a similarly sized facility
BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience caring for cardiac patients, including STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain
Familiarity with cardiac drips, including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
Ability to float across PCU/IMCU units and care for lower-acuity telemetry patients
Epic electronic medical record experience
Clinical Environment:
Cardiac-focused PCU / Intermediate Care Float Pool
Typical nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3-4
Complex cardiac and cardiovascular surgery patients
Cardiac drip management and telemetry monitoring
