Description

If you want to make a significant impact as a Radiation Therapist in Jackson, MS this position might be what you are looking for!

Responsibilities:

Administer prescribed doses of radiation therapy to patients with cancer and other diseases.
Operate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately.
Review and verify treatment plans created by radiation oncologists and medical physicists.
Monitor patients during treatment and observe for any adverse reactions or side effects.
Maintain accurate treatment records, documenting radiation doses, patient responses, and any complications.
Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions for prompt maintenance.

Qualifications:

MS License
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-RT(T) required.
