Opportunity:
Physical Therapist Assistant
Job Details:
• Treat patients as directed by the Physical Therapist in accordance with physician treatment plans
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per Physical Therapy Board requirements
• Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
• Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy services
• Assist nursing department with training of Restorative Aides
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences as needed
• Participate in in-service training programs for other staff in the facility
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area and report any equipment issues
• Must be proficient in computer skills including data entry into programs such as Casamba and Point Click Care
• Must hold a valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing with the state board
• Must meet continuing education requirements per state practices

This post-acute care facility provides rehabilitative and restorative care services to patients and residents in a supportive environment. The facility operates a dedicated rehabilitation department equipped to deliver comprehensive physical therapy services, with an interdisciplinary team approach that includes nursing, therapy, and other healthcare professionals working collaboratively to support patient recovery and progress toward discharge goals.
