Opportunity:

Stepdown/ Med Surg Overflow/ CV Exp/ Registered Nurse

Job Details:

• Work 36 or 48-hour shifts with schedule subject to change during interview
• Patient ratios of 1:4/5 for days, nights, and weekends with team nursing approach
• On-call and weekend coverage as needed
• Float between like units and campuses within 20 miles of each other
• Must have 2+ years of nursing experience (3+ years preferred)
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Travel experience required - at least 1 completed previous travel assignment
• Large hospital experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Skills needed: Telemetry, IV Start
• Active RN license in state or compact license required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must work 2 of 3 holidays if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years fall during assignment
• All requested time off must be included at submission - no RTO approved after offer
• Provide continuous care and monitoring for cardiac, pulmonary and other disease processes
• Work with interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, and Rapid Response Teams
