Opportunity:

OT - Outpatient Lymphedema

Job Details:

• Lymphedema certification is required - hard stop requirement
• Georgia state license required
• Schedule options: 4x10s or 5x8s available
• Available schedule: Monday/Wednesday 9:45 AM - 6:15 PM; Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• No weekend shifts required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May float within facility scope of practice to Piedmont Fayette Acute Care Inpatient facility as needed
• Work with OTs/OTAs, PT/PTAs, and SLPs on a regular basis alongside wound care clinic
• Collaborate with compression fitters and lymphedema vendors supporting the lymphedema patient population
• Treat patients ranging from adolescents and young/middle-aged adults to geriatrics with a mix of diagnoses including lymphedema care
• Daily census of 5 to 7 patients per day with a patient ratio of 5
• Hospital-based outpatient lymphedema patient population located within the outpatient rehab department
• Charting experience with Epic required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT, Lymphedema Certification
• Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
• If one or two major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work two of them

This hospital-based outpatient wellness and rehabilitation center provides specialized care for lymphedema patients and a variety of other diagnoses. The facility operates as part of a larger health system and features an interdisciplinary team environment where occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists collaborate regularly alongside a dedicated wound care clinic. The center is equipped with specialized lymphedema vendors and compression fitting support to deliver comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation services.
