Opportunity:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Perform cardiac, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
• Average 5-10 scans/studies per day
• Work with 1 scanner/room in the department
• May float to Mercy Downtown location (approximately 6.5 miles away)
• Call requirements after 4:30 PM on weekdays - rotating schedule
• Rotating weekend call responsibilities
• Rotating holiday on-call coverage
• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience required
• Must hold BLS and CA NMTL certifications
• Work with GE equipment and use Radnet & Merge Unity PACS systems
• Chart using Cerner system
• Teal scrubs required
• IV starts not required
• Radiologist available in-house
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling available
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
