Opportunity:

ICU- 2nd floor MICU some SICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts starting at 7:00 PM
• Maintain 1:2 nurse to patient ratios in a 16-bed unit
• Must have experience in Level I or Level II Trauma center and hospitals with 300+ beds
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS (preferred)
• Must be comfortable titrating drips including Precedex, pressors, anti-arrhythmics, and sedation
• Experience with CRRT (prismaflex), rotaprone, TTM-Arctic Sun, mass transfusions, and ECMO
• Handle complex cases including traumas, spinal injuries, sepsis, DKA, post-surgical recovery, and neurological patients
• Perform bedside procedures including trach care, CT insertion, bronchoscopies, and arterial line insertion
• Preferred experience with sheath pulling and CRRT highly preferred
• Float requirements as help-all to PCU/CVICU when needed (rare occurrence)
• Work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday for both shifts)
• Participate in holiday rotation with core staff
• Dress code requires black scrubs
• Complete 1-12 hour orientation shift with first day being 12-14 hours for competencies and general orientation
• Use Allscripts charting system
• BSN not required but license submission required
