Opportunity:
Occupational Therapist - Pediatric Feeding/Eating Difficulties
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (off Wednesday) from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Start and end times may vary about 30 minutes due to paperwork
• Patient care hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 20-week assignment with guaranteed hours after call-off policy is met
• 1-2 weeks orientation/training at Plaza location
• No on-call requirements; may be called off based on patient volume
• Maximum 6 days requested time off allowed
• Required to work 2 out of 3 holidays
• 1.5 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NBCOT, CA OT License or eligible to obtain
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from AOTA accredited program required
• Experience in assessment and treatment of pediatric patients with feeding/eating difficulties required
• Experience with patients 18 months and older required; 8 months and older preferred
• Must provide detailed statement about feeding experience with populations, diagnoses, and skill development
• Children's hospital experience preferred but not required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Free parking provided
• 40 hours orientation with up to 10 hours non-billable modules
