Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• Work primarily outpatient services with day shift hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Daily census of 8 patients with 8 visits per day
• Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, 2 years strongly preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• BLS certification preferred
• Must be comfortable floating within service line to meet facility needs
• Required documentation skills: Assessment, Discharge, Evaluation, Long Term Goals, Plan of Care, Reassessments, Short Term Goals
• Work with various equipment including bed alarms, call lights, crutches, gait belts, hospital beds, Hoyer lifts, prosthetics, walkers, and traction tables
• Assessment skills required: Body Mechanics, Pain assessment, Strength testing, Vital Signs
• Specialty focus on Geriatrics and Orthopedics
• Dress code: Khaki pants with black top
• Chart using EPIC system
• 16 hours of orientation required
• Treat patients across all age groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed

Facility:

This critical access hospital features a comprehensive rehabilitation department providing inpatient, swing bed (skilled) care, and outpatient services. The facility operates with 25 total staffed beds and 15 rooms, offering a full spectrum of rehabilitative care. The organization maintains modern equipment and technology to support diverse patient populations and provides interdisciplinary support for optimal patient outcomes.
