Opportunity:

Nuc Med Tech Days

Job Details:

• Day shift schedule with rotation weeks of on-call for emergency cases required
• Must be competent in PET and nuclear medicine (general nuclear medicine, no cardiac)
• Work with Siemens PET CT, Siemens and Phillips nuclear medicine cameras
• Patient ratio of 1:1 with daily census of 8-10 patients
• Work in 2-room department with 2 GE gamma cameras and one uptake system
• Perform general nuclear medicine studies including SPECT and nuclear cardiology studies
• On-call coverage approximately 1 weekend per month
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: NMTCB and BLS
• Dress code: Royal blue or khaki scrubs
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must float to like units within scope as needed based on facility needs
• Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Complete 2-3 hours of non-billable orientation modules onsite
