Opportunity:
Occupational Therapist - Pediatric Feeding Specialist
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (Wednesday off) from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Start and end times may vary about 30 minutes due to paperwork
• Patient care hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 20-week assignment with guaranteed hours after call-off policy is met
• 1-2 weeks orientation/training at Plaza location
• No on-call requirements, may be called off based on patient volume
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NBCOT, California OT License or eligible to obtain
• Must independently evaluate and treat full caseload with primary focus on pediatric feeding disorders
• Experience with patients 18 months and older required, 8 months and older preferred
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from AOTA accredited program required
• Experience in assessment and treatment of pediatric feeding/eating difficulties required
• Work with common diagnoses including Pediatric Feeding Disorder, Oral Aversion, Dysphagia, ARFID, Autism, Developmental Delay
• Children's hospital experience preferred but not required
• Maximum 6 days RTO allowed
• Must work 2 out of 3 holidays
• Epic charting system used
• Any color scrubs allowed
• 40 hours of orientation
