Opportunity:
Physical Therapist - Acute Inpatient Unit and Skilled Nursing Facility
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week with 2 weekends per month
• Split time between Acute Inpatient Unit and Skilled Nursing Facility based on unit needs
• Provide physical therapy services to diverse patient populations including neurological injury recovery and elderly rehabilitation patients
• Work with patients recovering from neurological injuries and surgeries in acute setting
• Provide geriatric rehabilitation care in skilled nursing facility
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy services
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient functional outcomes
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation
• Hospital provided scrubs for dress code
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from accredited program required
• Active California PT license required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Experience in neurological rehabilitation or acute inpatient care preferred
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation and SNF care preferred
• Must pass drug screening with negative nicotine/cotinine results
