Opportunity:

LDRP Unit

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Weekend requirement: every third weekend for night shift
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required unless comfortable with other areas based on competency
• Scrubs provided (light pink top with gray bottoms)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE (can work around if needed)
• BSN not required
• Use Cerner charting system
• Follow AWHONN's staffing guidelines: Labor patients 1:1, Postpartum couplet care 1:3-4, Special Care Nursery 1:1-2
• Provide comprehensive care including labor, vaginal delivery, circulate C-sections, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care (both initial and routine)
• Work in acute care setting with 8 LDRP beds, 2 OB Triage beds, 1 C-section OR, and 4 special care nursery beds
• Handle approximately 40 deliveries per month
• Orientation dates available: 5/4, 5/18, 6/1
