MRI Technologist

Job Details:

• Work 2 sixteen-hour shifts Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM
• No call requirements
• Float to NHRMC and NH Scotts Hill Medical Center as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT MR
• Must be proficient in adult outpatient, ER/trauma, abdomen, female pelvis, MRCP, male pelvis, breast, chest, GE, PACS, brain imaging
• Experience with cranial nerves, face/soft tissue neck, head MRA, head MRV, neck MRV, orbits, foot, hand, hip/bony pelvis, knee imaging required
• Must be skilled in lower extremity long bones, shoulder, sternum, TMJ with/without contrast, upper extremity long bones
• Knowledge of isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, starting peripheral IVs required
• Must be experienced with CINE, diffusion, gradient echo imaging, image post-processing, MIP, multiplanar reconstruction
• Experience with peripheral MRA, spin echo images, surface coils, T-1 and T-2 weighted images required
• Must handle cervical, lumbar, sacrum/coccyx, spinal trauma, thoracic, and thoracic MRA imaging
• Work with GE and Siemens equipment
• Use Epic documentation system
• Blocked scheduling format
• Must be available for hospital orientation week one and complete 12 hours of unit orientation
• Required to wear royal blue scrubs
• May be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team during catastrophic events
• Patient ratio of 1:1 with daily census of 16 visits per day
• Treat adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Up to 7 days RTO auto-approved (no holidays), must work 2 of 3 major holidays
