Job Details:

• Block scheduling with 1:1 patient ratios
• On-call required: 1-2 weekdays and 1-2 weekends per month
• Weekend coverage required
• Daily census of 5-6 patients in 5-room unit
• Care for patients of all ages: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must have compact nursing license in hand at submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Knowledge and skills required in orthopedic, general, gynecological, and podiatry procedures
• All RNs wear navy scrubs
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
• May be required to float between sister facilities
• Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, and Pharmacy
• Complete non-billable modules pre-start and annually (average 16 hours)
