Opportunity:
MRI Technologist
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour evening shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week with 13-week assignment available
• Patient ratio of 1:2 with average daily census of 18 patients
• One rotating weekend call requirement (August 8-9, 2026) from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• No floating requirements
• 40 hours of unit orientation required
• Royal blue scrubs required (not provided)
• Must have minimum 2 years of experience
• Required certifications: ARRT MR, BLS
• Work with GE Voyager equipment and Medrad injector
• Experience required in adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, ER/trauma settings
• Must be skilled in various MRI procedures including abdomen, pelvis, cardiovascular, chest, head and neck, musculoskeletal, and spine imaging
• Required to perform special imaging procedures including CINE, diffusion imaging, gradient echo imaging
• Must be competent in isolation precautions, contrast media administration, and starting peripheral IVs
• Epic charting system experience required
• Perform general MR exams for outpatients, inpatients, and ED patients
• Must be available for flexible start dates and complete orientation requirements
Facility:
This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive MRI department that serves a diverse patient population including outpatients, inpatients, and emergency department patients. The facility features 151 beds and maintains modern imaging equipment with specialized focus on general MR examinations. The department excludes invasive procedures requiring anesthesia support, breast MRs, prostates, and biopsies, allowing technologists to focus on core MRI competencies with strong interdisciplinary support services.
