Opportunity:

Labor & Delivery RN

Job Details:

• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Does not accept first-time travelers
• Epic experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
• ACLS certification preferred
• Staffing ratio of 1:1-3 patients
• Float to Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set
• Work with 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Provide care for labor/preterm labor patients
• Circulate for C-sections, assist with OB-GYN procedures, and provide post-op and pre-op care
• Perform scrub duties for low risk antepartum and low risk labor and delivery cases
• Administer blood and blood products, manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and syringe pumps
• Handle special procedures including cardioversion/defibrillation and wound vac management
• Manage heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate therapies
• Attend all deliveries including high-risk deliveries
• Assist with GYN surgeries, provide couplet care, and work in transition nursery
• Care for adolescents, infants, and adults
• Complete pre-start modules averaging 16 hours
• Provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
