Opportunity:

Labor & Delivery RN

Job Details:

• 2 years of experience required
• Does not accept first-time travelers
• Epic experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
• ACLS preferred
• Staffing ratio 1:1-3 patients
• Float required to Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set
• Care for patients with labor/preterm labor diagnoses
• Work in 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Provide circulating, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, scrub, low risk antepartum, and low risk labor & delivery care
• Administer blood/blood products, perform cardioversion/defibrillation procedures
• Manage cooling/warming blankets, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps
• Operate wound vac equipment
• Administer heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Attend all deliveries including high-risk deliveries
• Assist with GYN surgeries, couplet care, low risk antepartum, transition nursery
• Provide care for adolescents, infants, and adults
• Complete 16+ hours of non-billable modules pre-start and annually
• Provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
