Opportunity:
Occupational Therapy
Job Details:
• Work four 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Treat 10-12 patients per day in acute inpatient and rehabilitation settings
• Must have minimum 1 year of licensed experience in acute inpatient or rehabilitation
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Rotating weekend schedule unless assigned to weekends as regular shift
• Holiday coverage as needed
• No self-scheduling available
• Required certifications: BLS and state licensure
• Common patient diagnoses include orthopedic total joints, neurological strokes, occasional brain injuries, medical, and general ICU patients
• May cover ICU depending on experience and facility needs
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• 2-3 days of department-specific orientation (plan to work Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts during onboarding)
• Scrubs permitted but must not match colors of other departments
• Manager supervision available on shifts
• Facility staffs rehab aides but not COTAs
• Must live outside 50-mile radius of facility
