Opportunity:
1Y/1ST TIMER - Acute Care Exp WA LIC OT- Req 10100*20
Job Details:
• 1 year of experience required
• Acute care experience is a hard stop requirement
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
• Washington license required in hand at time of submission
• Must be flexible to float between units including acute, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehab facility
• Expected to handle 8-9 patients per day
• Weekend rotation required - 1 weekend every 4 weeks
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be self-driven, hard worker, and work well with team members
• Expected to evaluate and treat patients across all hospital areas
• Patient diagnoses include multi-trauma, TBI, SCI, CVA, surgical, orthopedic, Parkinson's, MS
• Must be independent with strong time management skills
• Occasionally see patients in same day surgery and emergency department
• Required skills include acute disorder assessment, chronic disorder management, and functional activities
• Experience with edema massage, functional splints, kinesiotaping, orthoplast, and static splints preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• All scrub colors accepted
• Free parking provided
• Must complete compliance modules averaging 16 hours pre-start

The organization features an ICU, medical unit, surgery department, and an 8-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility. The facility maintains a close-knit team environment and utilizes Epic charting systems. As a smaller rural hospital, they provide comprehensive care across multiple specialties and require staff who can work independently while maintaining high productivity standards.
