Opportunity:

Stepdown/Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with weekend requirements of 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Holiday rotation required for evening or day shifts
• Patient ratios: Stepdown 1:3 and Floor 1:5-6
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
• Stepdown experience required
• Must be able to titrate drips including Heparin, insulin, Cardizem, and amiodarone
• Work with common diagnoses including respiratory issues, weakness, UTI, AKI, and chest pain
• Use EPIC charting system
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Unit-specific orientation provided
• Work with respiratory therapy equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow
• Telemetry monitoring available with strips monitored at Ruby
• Support from 2 nurse aids per shift
• No floating requirements or call/standby requirements
• Must provide copy of unexpired driver's license and disclose any licensing hits
• BSN not required but nursing license must be submitted
