Opportunity:

Physical Therapist (Outpatient)

Job Details:

• 5x8 shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• See an average of 10 patients per day Monday through Thursday and 5 patients on Friday
• Sessions scheduled every 45 minutes, including evaluations
• 1:1 patient ratio with 45 minutes per session
• Double booking is avoided unless accommodating a patient's specific scheduling request, with a maximum of 1-2 double bookings per day; Medicare patients are never double booked
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• Holiday coverage may occasionally be required
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs or between sister facilities
• Guaranteed hours subject to facility calling off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; outpatient setting experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with outpatient experience
• South Carolina or Multi-State Compact Physical Therapist License required at start of contract
• Required certifications: BLS
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrub color: Charcoal gray
• Free parking available
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Facility:

This is a hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation unit located off the main hospital campus. The facility provides a structured and patient-centered environment focused on outpatient physical therapy services. With a manageable patient load and a consistent scheduling model, the facility supports quality one-on-one care and utilizes Epic for electronic charting.
