Opportunity:
Acute Care Outpatient Experience
Job Details:
• Ideal candidate can work across outpatient and inpatient (mostly inpatient rehab) settings with weekend coverage
• Week 1 schedule: Sunday (inpatient 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), Monday-Thursday (outpatient 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Week 2 schedule: Monday-Friday (outpatient 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM except Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• Alternative schedule available: Monday-Friday outpatient only (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM except Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• Work in hospital-based outpatient setting with skilled outpatient occupational therapy
• Treat patients with neurological, orthopedic/hand conditions, and some pediatric cases
• Daily census of 10-12 patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• May be required to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification required
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Work collaboratively with physical therapy team
