Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Float Coverage

Job Details:

• Work 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling options: 5x8 shifts (Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, occasionally 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM) or 4x10 shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with 30-minute lunch or 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM with 30-minute lunch)
• 13-week contract assignment only
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Float between two clinical sites in Wilmington, NC coastal region (primary site and sister site approximately 30 minutes apart)
• No call requirements or weekend coverage
• Always work paired with at least one other therapist - never work alone
• Will NOT be expected to cut blocks, perform CT simulations alone, or perform dose calculations
• MD and RN always on-site throughout the day
• Required to participate in Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team assignments
• Must wear royal blue scrubs (not provided)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS
• Required skills: Adult Acute Care, ARIA, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, Eclipse (Varian), External Beam Therapy, IMRT, Radiation Safety, Varian 21 ex/ix, CT/iCT simulation
• No orientation or dimensions training required - can start directly in clinic

This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive radiation oncology program with state-of-the-art equipment across multiple locations. The primary site features 3 Varian linear accelerators and one CT simulator, while the sister facility has one Varian TrueBeam and a Siemens CT simulator.
