Opportunity:

Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Job Details:

• Must have 1 year of acute care experience as a hard requirement
• Inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) experience preferred
• Valid Washington state license required in hand at time of submission
• Float between multiple units including acute, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehab facility
• Patient ratio of 1:10
• Weekend rotation required on 6-week basis
• No on-call responsibilities
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Treat patients with multi-trauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, surgical, orthopedic, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, and various other diagnoses
• Perform evaluations and treatments including acute and chronic disorder assessments and functional activities
• Must be flexible to work in all areas and pick up additional patients as needed to meet productivity standards
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required skills include acute care, adult rehabilitation facility, edema massage, functional splints, kinesiotaping, orthoplast, and static splints
• Must be independent, hard-working, and demonstrate excellent time management skills
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 16 hours pre-start and annually

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a 104-bed short-term acute care hospital and Level III trauma center serving as a regional medical facility. The facility features an ICU, medical unit, surgery department, and an 8-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility, along with same-day surgery and emergency department services. The organization utilizes Epic charting system and provides comprehensive care across multiple specialties in a collaborative team environment.
