Opportunity:
1YR/1ST TIMER - Acute Care Exp WA LIC OT- Req 10124
Job Details:
• Float between multiple units including acute, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehabilitation facility
• Weekend coverage required on a rotating 6-week basis
• No on-call responsibilities required
• Patient ratio of 1:10
• 1 year of acute care experience required (hard requirement)
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
• Must have Washington license in hand
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Treat patients with multi-trauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, surgical, orthopedic, Parkinson's, MS, and other diagnoses
• Perform evaluations and treatments in various hospital settings including ICU, medical units, surgery, and 8-bed inpatient rehab facility
• Occasionally provide services in same day surgery and emergency department
• Must be independent, hardworking, and demonstrate excellent time management skills
• Required to be flexible between all work areas and work as a team member
• Expected to pick up extra patients as needed to meet productivity standards
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Must complete non-billable modules averaging 16 hours prior to start
• Any color scrubs acceptable

This short-term acute care facility operates as a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds. The hospital serves as a regional medical center providing comprehensive care across multiple specialties including intensive care, medical services, surgical services, and an 8-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. The facility maintains a close-knit team environment and utilizes Epic electronic health records system for patient documentation.
