Job Details:

• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Weekends required
• Float required to Postpartum
• Call not required
• Guaranteed hours with clinician can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2-week period
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring
• Must have Epic charting system experience
• WA RN or Compact RN license required
• Hardstop requirement: must have sterile vaginal exam (SVE) experience
• Any scrub color permitted except reddish orange
• Ideally candidates should have experience in facilities that handle 200+ deliveries
• Must provide high-risk perinatal care including labor and delivery, antepartum, and postpartum care
• Patient ratios: 1:1 in labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, 1:2-3 in antepartum
• All travelers expected to float between various like units within skill set
• 40-hour orientation required
• Complete pre-start modules averaging 16 hours

Facility:

This Level II Trauma Center operates as a comprehensive healthcare facility with 571 total staffed beds across both campuses. The Pacific Campus serves as the Pavilion for Women and Children, featuring comprehensive maternity services and a Level II NICU. The facility provides high-risk perinatal care with Level III capabilities, including 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 operating rooms, 2 PACU units, and a 7-bay triage area. The facility maintains 24/7 staffing with delivering providers, CRNAs, and health unit coordinators, supported by surgical technicians and CNAs to ensure comprehensive patient care.
