Job Details:
• Work 5x8 day shifts with 72 guaranteed hours per 2 weeks
• Traveler can be called off for 1, 8-hour shift per 2 weeks
• Weekend coverage required
• Float within scope to meet facility needs including outpatient, acute care, and some SNF
• Block schedule accommodation available
• 1 year of experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, AK License
• Epic charting system experience required
• Dress code: Any scrubs or business casual
• No on-call responsibilities
• Work with patients of all ages and diagnoses
• Provide therapy services for outpatients, inpatients, and SNF patients
• Handle specialized services including wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric specialties
• Daily census of 6-8 patients
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 16 hours pre-start and annually
• Must have valid driver's license and proof of insurance for facility-provided vehicle
Facility:
This critical access hospital operates as a comprehensive healthcare facility serving patients of all ages and diagnoses. The facility features 46 acute care beds and 22 long-term care beds, functioning as Level IV Trauma center. The therapy department provides diverse services across multiple care settings including outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facility services. The organization offers specialized programs in wound care, lymphedema management, pelvic floor therapy, and pediatric specialties, utilizing Epic charting systems and maintaining modern healthcare standards.
