Opportunity:
Radiation Therapist
Job Details:
• Work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
• Independently perform radiation therapy treatments, simulations, and treatment planning
• Fabricate specialized treatment aides according to physician prescriptions and instructions
• Operate Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and ARIA EMR system
• Treat 25-30 patients per day
• Handle treatment modalities including 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and electrons
• Perform set-ups for all treatment sites in comprehensive cancer center
• Must possess Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as Radiation Therapist by start date
• Required certifications: ARRT in Radiation Therapy (T) and BLS
• 2 years of progressively responsible imaging technologist/specialist experience required
• Must arrive Thursday before start date for Friday employee health appointment
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across lifespan
• Assess patient data and interpret information for age-specific care requirements
