Opportunity:

50 mile radius rule - ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE'S UNEXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSE

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with weekend requirements every other weekend
• Three 12-hour shifts per week with self-scheduling option
• Submit ideal schedule to manager but must be flexible to help fill gaps in permanent staffing
• Schedule created for 4 weeks at a time
• May be required to participate in holiday rotation (split between Group A and Group B)
• Float between multiple units of varying acuity levels (CCU, IMC, MS Level 7, MS Level 8, Skilled Care, ED)
• Patient ratios vary by unit: CCU 1:2-3, IMC 1:4-6, MS Level 7 1:5-6, MS Level 8 1:5-8, Skilled Care 1:8-10
• Must have 5 years of nursing experience
• Prefer 1 year of ICU or ED experience
• Must be comfortable taking ratios from 1:2-10
• Required to titrate drips when working in ED or CCU, including managing all critical drips like Heparin
• Must be able to troubleshoot respiratory equipment
• Expected to read and interpret telemetry, print strips, perform measurements, and identify rhythms
• Receive unit assignment via text message within 2 hours prior to shift start
• One day orientation and one day with preceptor (orientation to only one unit initially)
• Clock in on assigned unit for cost-center and complete daily timesheet
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Use Cerner charting system
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• BSN not required
• No call or standby requirements
• Common diagnoses include NSTEMI, pneumonia, sepsis, diabetes, heart disease, and diverticulitis
