Opportunity:

RN - Medical/Surgical

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with weekends as scheduled
• Patient ratios of 1:6-7 (must be comfortable with ratios up to 1:7)
• 30-bed unit with acute care setting
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Must possess unexpired driver's license and comply with 50-mile radius rule
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Work with common diagnoses including CHF, COPD, cellulitis, pneumonia, urosepsis, and AKI
• Charge nurse responsibilities may be assigned along with patient assignment
• Work alongside PCTs (patient care technicians) on the unit
• Required to titrate heparin drips based on APTT results
• Unit includes telemetry monitoring watched remotely by monitor techs
• May use intermittent BIPAP equipment (no ventilators on unit)
• Charting system: EPIC
• Floating requirements as needed based on census
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• BSN not required
