Opportunity:

OR - same day & OR

Job Details:

• Work four ten-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• Rotating call schedule with 1 week per month and 1 weekend per month on-call duties
• Must respond to calls within 1 hour
• Holiday call requirements
• Must be able to float to pre/post and PACU areas
• Handle average of 6-8 cases per day in 2 OR suites, 1 scope/GI room, and 1 minor procedure room
• Work with 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (both AHA), PALS (AHA preferred), NIHSS
• Scrubbing not required but considered a plus
• Common procedures include general surgery, orthopedic procedures (hips, knees), urology, pain injections, and occasional GYN cases
• Work with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Charge nurse responsibilities included
• 2-3 orientation shifts with preceptor provided
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must provide copy of unexpired driver's license and comply with 50-mile radius rule
