Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2538.64

Opportunity:

PCU RN, 4th Floor East Wing

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Maintain 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio on both day and night shifts
• Care for adult patients with occasional pediatric patients (15 years and older)
• Must live outside 50-mile radius and provide driver's license at submittal
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Telemetry competency required
• Must pass 90% open book skills exam on Friday during orientation
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove leads to contract termination
• Work with EPIC charting system and Alaris IV pumps
• Float to medical-surgical areas based on hospital needs
• Manage common diagnoses including CVA, TIA, shortness of breath, subdural hematoma
• Administer PCA pumps for pain management, cardizem, and insulin drips
• Focus on hourly rounding and patient responsiveness
• 55-bed progressive care unit with nursing assistant and charge nurse support

This Level 1 trauma center provides comprehensive acute care services with a focus on progressive care units. The facility features modern equipment including mechanical lifts and advanced monitoring systems, supported by a multidisciplinary team including educators, care managers, social workers, dieticians, and rehabilitation specialists. The organization emphasizes quality patient care and maintains high standards for clinical competency and patient experience.
