Job Details:

• Work 5x8 day shifts Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• Occasional late days typically 4-5 days per month, rarely working past 5:00 PM
• 1:1 patient ratio in cardiac catheterization lab
• Call requirement: One day per week and every fifth weekend
• Float as needed within facility
• No weekend requirement for regular shifts
• Work with adult and geriatric patients with cardiovascular diagnoses
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Experience required: Minimum 2 years in cardiac cath lab settings
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Skills include cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, IABP placement/removal, interventional catheterizations, and percutaneous coronary interventions
• Work with specialized equipment including Impella, Penumbra, EKOS, Roto, Ultrasound, Shockwave and GE Mac Lab system
• Use Epic documentation system and Pyxis medication dispensing
• 16-hour orientation provided
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must complete lab entry within 48 hours after signing and complete all testing within 48 hours

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive cardiac catheterization lab with 5 procedure rooms serving 18 patients daily. The facility offers advanced cardiovascular services including both diagnostic and interventional procedures for patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular disease, and other cardiovascular conditions. The lab is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including Siemens and GE Healthcare fluoroscopy equipment, and provides interdisciplinary support services including respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
