Opportunity:
RN - PCU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM or night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5 with nursing assistants at 1:10 or 2:20 ratios
• Every other weekend requirement and every third holiday
• Fast-paced unit caring for adults and geriatrics with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring patients
• Required to titrate drips including Cardizem, betablockers, and seizure medications
• Floating requirements to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units
• First week onboarding followed by 1-2 days floor orientation
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• Driver's license required for submittal to verify 50-mile radius compliance
• Cannot be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility
• Use EPIC charting system
• No call or standby requirements
• Successful candidates need positive attitude, communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
