Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2881.80
Opportunity:
L&D RN
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour variable shifts per week
• 13-week assignment with guaranteed 60 hours per 2 weeks
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
• May be called off for 1 shift per 2-week period
• Patient ratios: 1:1 or 2:1 during day shifts
• 36 hours of orientation required
• May float to like units within hospital or affiliate hospitals as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must have Alaska RN license in hand for auto offer
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRP
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Facility provides scrubs
• Must live at least 50 miles from facility
• Time off must be included in submittal and approved individually
• Complete pre-start modules averaging 16 hours
Facility:
This acute care hospital is a prestigious Magnet-designated facility with 407 staffed beds, recognized as a Level II Trauma Center and named Best Hospital in Alaska by U.S. News & World Report. The Labor & Delivery unit is a high-risk specialty department featuring 10 OB triage rooms, 10 LDR rooms, 3 OR suites, and 4 PACU rooms. The unit handles an average of 7 daily deliveries but can accommodate up to 14 patients with inductions and high-risk antepartum care. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
