Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work day shifts generally 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 7:00 AM/8:00 AM to 3:00 PM/4:00 PM, but may vary for patient appointments
• No weekend requirements
• Call coverage from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM as needed
• 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Handle approximately 20 visits per day in 4 treatment rooms
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-T
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must provide proof of high school level education
• Complete pre-start modules (non-billable, self-reported)
• Block scheduling type
• Interdisciplinary support includes phlebotomy, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of profile submission and will not be approved after contract signing
• Maximum 5 days RTO per contract allowed

Facility:

This acute care hospital and regional health system features a comprehensive Radiation Oncology department equipped with advanced technology including Elekta linear accelerators and ViewRay systems. The facility utilizes MOSAIQ documentation system and provides safe, accurate radiation therapy delivery. The department supports various cancer treatments including pancreatic cancer and offers external beam therapy with custom molds and simulation services.
