Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts with varied start times between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM
• Treat 10-12 scheduled 1:1 patients per day
• Weekend requirements: 2 weekends in 13 weeks with Saturday full day (comp day provided during the week) and Sunday ortho or stroke patients only
• No holiday requirements, but can volunteer
• Dress code: Business casual with khakis and polo shirts
• Department-specific orientation includes 1 day of shadowing, then begin covering patients on day 2
• Work with inpatient med-surg, ICU, and acute rehab unit patients
• Common diagnoses include neuro, cardiac, orthopedic joints, weakness, and pneumonia
• Provide care in inpatient, outpatient, and acute rehab unit settings
• Collaborate with COTAs and rehab aides for patient throughput and assistance
• Use Cerner charting system
• Required certification: BLS
• Hand therapy certification preferred but not required
• Prefer Epic experience and 1 year of specialty experience
• Outpatient candidates need previous travel experience
• Cancellation policy allows 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
