MRI TECH

Job Details:

• Work weekday shifts from 7:00 AM to 10:30 PM Monday through Friday
• Work weekend shifts from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Saturday and Sunday
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• Perform MRI contrast and non-contrast procedures
• Work with GE MRI equipment
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Patient ratio and staffing includes 9 staff members on day shift
• Must wear black scrubs as per dress code requirements
• MRI registration required - candidates without this certification will not be considered
• Breast MRI experience preferred
• Work in a supportive environment with friendly atmosphere and opportunities for growth

Facility:

This 815-bed healthcare facility serves as the region's only Level II trauma center and is home to the only children's hospital in western North Carolina. The facility offers comprehensive services including women's services, sports medicine, neurological care, and the region's only open heart and interventional cardiology programs. The facility has earned recognition as one of the nation's best hospitals by U.S. News & World Report, Truven Health Analytics, and Healthgrades. The on-site children's hospital features 97 beds including a 51-bed Level III NICU and has received numerous awards including a 5-Star Service Excellence Award for children's orthopedics.
