Opportunity:

MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
• Must have 1 year of Epic EMR experience
• Required certifications: ARRT MR and BLS
• Must maintain active SCQRSA license
• Perform imaging for chest, abdomen, pelvis, head (with and without contrast), musculoskeletal trauma, and spine
• Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and starting peripheral IVs required
• Proficient in adult acute care and outpatient settings across all age groups (neonate through older adult)
• Equipment experience includes GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, and PACS systems
• Must be competent with isolation precautions
• Floating to other units/campuses required based on census and qualifications
• 10-hour orientation provided
• Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Must be 50+ miles from facility for radius requirements

Facility:

This regional community teaching medical center features 641 licensed beds and serves as a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The facility offers advanced specialty programs including cardiac care, stroke, and vascular services. The imaging department operates 3 rooms with a daily census of approximately 40 patients and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, transportation, and unit secretary services.
