Opportunity:

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with call coverage evenings and weekends
• Standard 30-minute response time for call situations
• On call one evening per week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays per month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)
• Float between Bryan and College Station campus locations (16 minutes apart) as needed
• Must have at least 4-5 years of hospital experience with exceptional references
• Must have cardiovascular experience and ability to circulate CABGs
• Must have robotics experience with both Mako robot (Ortho) and DaVinci robot (General, Urology, and CV)
• Must circulate in all specialties including cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, general, eyes, endo, and cysto procedures
• Experience with craniotomies essential for after-hours call cases
• Must handle ortho trauma, joint replacements, and various surgical procedures
• Proficient in open belly and trauma cases required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• May be asked to precept as needed by the unit
• Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination
• Use MEDITECH charting system
• BSN not required but nursing license required for submission
