Opportunity:
Department: NICU | RN
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend shifts as needed based on unit requirements
• Float to all St. Luke's Treasure Valley Sites (Meridian, Nampa, Boise) in NICU or as a sitter
• Care for Level II NICU patients, 32 weeks gestation and greater
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:3 in 8-bed unit with private NICU suites
• Must have 3 years of NICU experience
• Must be able to attend deliveries and stabilize newborns
• Required to attend ALL c-sections (scheduled, urgent, and emergent)
• Must complete "eyes & thighs" and 2-hour assessments
• Care for patients with respiratory distress, feeders and growers, hypoglycemia, and NAS scoring
• Work with continuous monitoring and centralized monitoring system
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE
• Hospital-issued scrubs required, must change into and out of scrubs at facility
• No fingernail lacquer, acrylic, or gel nails allowed
• 3 days of unit-specific orientation required
• Must complete compliance and EPIC Curio assignments before start
• No call or standby requirements
• Charting system: EPIC
• Must live outside 50-mile radius of facility
