Opportunity:

Cath Lab RN Needed for MUSC

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• 1 year minimum experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Previous charge experience required
• Scrub experience preferred
• Work in 5 catheterization lab rooms plus Hybrid OR
• Handle various case types including Right and Left Heart Cath Diagnostic, PCI, Complex PCI, CTO, ASA, PFO/ASD, MitralClip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, Peripheral, and Vascular procedures
• On-call required: 1-2 nights per week, one weekend in a six-week period, holiday call possible
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census of 23
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency
• South Carolina or Multi-state/compact license required at start of contract
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Skills include interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, and scrub procedures
• 40-hour orientation required
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
• Modules are non-billable and average 4 hours, completed pre-start

This major academic medical center features a comprehensive cardiovascular program with advanced catheterization lab services. The facility operates multiple cath lab rooms and a hybrid operating room, supporting a wide range of cardiac and vascular procedures from diagnostic studies to complex interventional cases. The organization provides interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
