Opportunity:
Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech
Job Details:
• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call requirement: 8-10 call shifts per month including weekend coverage
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association only), CCI with RCIS/RCES preferred or ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) acceptable
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Perform pediatric/adult transplant procedures including R/L biopsy, balloon, stent, and valve placement
• May also include interventional radiology procedures (preferably pediatric)
• Work with 2 catheterization lab rooms
• Experience with Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab and EP preferred
• Handle congenital heart patients, heart catheterization procedures, and various cardiac interventions
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
• Must be prepared for emergency response team assignment during hurricane season (June-November)
