Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2476.24

Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday requirement every third holiday
• No call or standby requirements
• Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
• Care for adults and geriatrics including cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes mellitus, and continuous EEG monitoring patients
• Required to titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
• Work in a fast-paced environment requiring positive attitude, good communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Must pass open book skills exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score required
• First week onboarding followed by 1-2 days of floor orientation
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• Must live outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities
• Use EPIC charting system
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Driver's license required at submittal
• BSN not required

Facility:

This acute care facility features a 35-bed Progressive Care Unit providing specialized care for patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and treatment. The facility operates as a Level 2 trauma center with comprehensive services including cardiac care, neurology, and nephrology programs. The unit maintains appropriate staffing ratios with nurse aids and patient care techs supporting patient care, and features charge nurses on each shift to ensure optimal patient outcomes and staff coordination.
